Basics
Workshop for Linux installation on laptops, using cd/dvd, boot disk, Talk on FOSS philosophy
The power of Linux system can be exploited more if you are conversant with the command line system. This workshop is aimed to give you understanding of the Linux Files System and how to work with basic commands.
Programming Languages
C is the most popular programming language used. The workshop/seminar will help you to learn how to program in C programming language under Linux using gcc.
PHP is one of the most commonly used programming language for web development. It is also a base for the popular CMS like Word Press and Drupal.
Python has become one of the very popular programming language which is considered to be easy to learn and lets you write programs better and faster.

Web
LAMP stands for Linux Apache MySQL & PHP(PERL/PYTHON). It is a basic structure that is used for web development. The seminar/workshop will be a guidance to how to use/work with the LAMP environment.
Demo of installation and working with Content Management Systems like Drupal/Wordpress/Joomla etc. You need to have a basic knowledge of LAMP system

What is Arduino and how to use and program the same.
How to install and use Linux on a Raspberry Pi hardware. Possible usage of the same.
Mathematical & Scientific
GNU Octave is a high-level interpreted language, primarily intended for numerical computations. The Octave language is quite similar to Matlab so that most programs are easily portable.
It is also possible that you could volunteer/conduct a seminar/workshop or request any thing else apart from above. Select accordingly and give brief description in next field accordingly.
