Just download the bin file and run it.. there will be no dependency.
http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/6u15/index.html
Click this link and select your platform,
there you can find "jdk-6u15-linux-i586.bin" file , just click it and
install it just running this bin file from command line.
