All hogwash, and I suspect another way to deflect funds. There are several gaps:
* how to ascertain that the participating companies from Blr, Hyd,
etc. do not have their own agenda? Only if these companies are fully
Indian, and have no contracts with any foreign client, will this idea
of "our source code" is possible.
* Govt to hire s/w engineers? BS, BS, BS - all they are going to do is
have 50% reservation, and hire junk, and then tell that world that
writing an OS from scratch is atleast a 10 yr. effort, and by the time
10 yrs. are over, no body is going to remember it. Ha!
