Under the project on Use of Open source software for Teaching Maths,
we are happy to announce:

Demo talk and hands workshop on Moodle, Free and Open Source Learning
Management System useful for Teachers
Time: 4-6 pm
Day and Date: Tuesday, 18th Jan, 2011
Venue: Bhaskracharya Pratishthana, Pune
Fees: No registration fees,

Who can attend:  Any one who is interpreted to know about the moodle.

Abstract:

Moodle is a 5-year old Free and Open Source Learning Management System
used for facilitating complete e-learning or blended learning
(supporting traditional learning with web-based tools) for various big
and small educational institutes like The Open University UK, IIT
Bombay and even primary and high schools.

Prof. Harshad Gune and his student Samarendra Manohar Hedaoo, both of
whom manage the Moodle at SICSR (Symbiosis College, Pune), will
conduct a hands-on workshop sharing their experiences in using Moodle
as a tool making life easier for teachers as well as student!
