[PLUG] grub et. al. woes...

attempted to install kubuntu 12.04... everything went without a hitch
and boot loader "the grub" was also installed in the process...

upon asking to remove the media (usb created using Unetbootin) was
removed and reboot, grub went into "rescue mode" instead of booting...

2 more attempts to make the system boot by going into rescue mode
reinstalling the grub failed...

apparently message is something like "grub does not understand the
arch" or something similar..
some problem with efi...

hats off to the grub advocates guys.... how could they achieve such
phenomenal success is what I will wonder and ponder now for next
**phew** days...

incidentally kubuntu installer did not have lilo as an bootloader
option for people to choose... a negetive for **k+ubuntu** otherwise I
would have spent at least same amount of time on it before
complaining....
